"Using a variety of technology "borrowed" from both Shotlite and Hellstorm design bureaus, the 010 offers greatly improved stopping power with a knockoff of the Stormshot round and is much lighter than its size suggests."
Despite its outward appearance being very much that of a regular HVM-HTD weapon, the 010-HTD plays much more like a kitbash of an HVM weapon, a Shotlite weapon, and a Hellstorm weapon. It is quite mobile and has acceptable gun handling characteristics besides the slow firing rate of the bolt-action carried over from the standard 010.
The canister shot of the 010-HTD works unusually compared to that of the Hellstorm weapons; as it is of marginal quality, the shot breaks apart soon after leaving the barrel, turning the gun into effectively a two-pellet shotgun. Along with the decent piercing value, the 010-HTD can be used more effectively against crowds, although it is still far from the best weapon for the job.
