The Infected Ancient is an exceedingly rare tier 10 boss that has a 0.0125% chance to appear in the place of another boss in a mission. It has very unique and powerful abilities.

HP: 380000, 13000000 Savage

Energy resist 75%, 90% savage

The screen starts flashing white 10 seconds before it appears.

Abilities[]

Attack: Standard attack. 5000 damage, 55555 savage

Necromancy: Revives nearby zombies with 50% health, full HP when at low health, with 200% attack when savage at low health. Bosses are revived with 30% health.

Ground Eruption: The infected ancient does an attacking motion similar to the shambler and makes red markings on the ground. 3 seconds after they are placed, they erupt in stalagmites and magma, dealing physical and thermal damage. Normal 8000 physical 8000 thermal, Savage 40000 thermal 35500 physical

Shocking Aura: The infected ancient creates a faint blue aura around itself with 4.00 radius. Players in this aura takes 1000 damage per second, 10000 when savage.

Disarming strike: The infected ancient leaves a green trail, similar to that of the ability adrenaline, and chases a certain player. If the attack hits, the player will lose his/her current weapon for the rest of the game. It deals the same damage as the standard attack.

Culling strike: The infected ancient leaves a red trail, and chases a chosen player. If the attack hits a player below 30% health, the player will die automatically, regardless of resistances.

Wrath: When it is below 40% health, it starts to glow blue, and then releases a shockwave similar to the zombie mech's EMP wave, just with double the radius. It deals energy damage. 20000 damage, 222222 savage.

Lightning nova: Shoots lightning balls in all directions, similar to the necrosis' projectile burst. Repeats this several times. 500, 50000 savage

Soul Conduit: Upon death, it revives everything within a 6 meter radius with full life. The level does not end if a boss is revived this way.

Since it is a very hard and rare boss, It drops:

1 nanotonium strongbox, 0.0005 chance for Neptunium Strongbox, 5% chance for fortunium strongbox, 1000000 cash, 500000 alloy, and 3 other strongboxes neodymium or above.

Strategies[]

Having fast movement is key. You will need to weave around the projectiles it shoots, and run away if it is chasing you to use disarming strike or culling strike, and to avoid the ground rupture.

Do not try to tank it. It will result in your death, especially when it is using culling strike, or activating wrath.
