Basic Summary Edit
In response to massive demand for a handheld version of the successful Ronson Cryogenics Turret, the Ronson C70 was developed. Also packing quite some crowd controlling punch, it's damage on a single target is not that impressive.
Playing Style Edit
The C70 is designed with only crowd control in mind. Freeze effect; large blast radius; moderate damage, capacity, and ROF (which is good enough for a weapon that freezes); and decent pierce help it. High movement penalty, somewhat long reload time are big concerns. It's single target DPS isn't that impressive, although it can do the job. It is also a good supporting weapon for bossing, as it can slow down bosses slightly after impact.
Recommended Augs Edit
Deadly: The first choice for nearly all weapons. Allows it to deal more initial damage and lets it kill faster.
Tenacious: Allowing this weapon to deal more DOT, meaning that when you shoot the zombie, there is a higher chance you can just forget the zombie and let it die, saving bullets fired. This also comes in handy during bossing, especially against fast and pesky enemies like the Necrosis, Runners, and Spitters.
Overclocked: Allows for a faster rate of fire, making the weapon deal more DPS, and making it ungodly for crowd controlling.
Adaptive: Allows it to kill off thermal/cryo resisting zombies easier. Makes it more versatile. It's also a crucial aug for Nightmare Mode.
Capacity: Another helpful aug, since the clip can be drained in 6 seconds. Allows it to shoot longer and kill more enemies before reload is needed. Helps offset the increased ammo consumption caused by augmenting Overclocked.
